The founder’s perspective

Infrastructure should
work much harder.

Neil Morten founded Greenwall UK around a simple idea: infrastructure that must already be built should solve more than one problem.

His work through CarbonSync has focused on how environmental value can be connected to identifiable, measurable assets. Rather than treating carbon, biodiversity and infrastructure as separate conversations, Neil looks for practical ways to bring them together—while keeping each outcome independently measured and credibly reported.

This thinking sits at the heart of Greenwall UK: engineered acoustic performance first, with the potential to add carbon storage, living planting, biodiversity, circular material use and measurable environmental value.

Knowledge brought together

Carbon. Materials. Finance.
One joined-up proposition.

01

CarbonSync

Developing practical ways to identify, measure and track environmental value against real physical assets—not simply make broad sustainability claims.

02

Fund + build in Africa

Experience shaping funding and delivery models for energy, agricultural and infrastructure opportunities with partners across African markets.

03

Hempcrete knowledge

A growing technical understanding of industrial hemp and hemp-lime construction developed through the knowledge and experience of the wider Dun Agro family.

04

Commercial systems thinking

Connecting design, construction, energy, carbon, biodiversity and finance so one infrastructure asset can deliver more useful outcomes.

Fund + build

From an idea
to a financeable asset.

Across Africa, Neil has worked with project partners on fund-and-build approaches for energy, agricultural and infrastructure opportunities. That work has required more than a design concept: it means considering how projects are structured, financed, delivered, monitored and connected to long-term social and environmental outcomes.

The same discipline informs Greenwall UK. A better barrier must still be technically credible, commercially deliverable and understandable to the clients, contractors and funders responsible for it.

Natural material intelligence

Learning from the wider Dun Agro family.

Neil’s education in hemp and hempcrete has developed through his connection with the wider Dun Agro family and its specialist knowledge of industrial hemp, processing and hemp-lime construction.

This material understanding is especially relevant to Greenwall Classic, where the hemp-lime core creates the potential to store biogenic carbon within a long-life acoustic asset. Any carbon performance must be quantified through an appropriate lifecycle methodology.
